GROUND’S LAWS OF SOCIAL INTERACTION

1)  If you have a group of people and one of them starts acting like an asshole, then the others will try to prove that they can be even bigger assholes.  Alcohol accentuates this effect.

2)  If there is an auto accident that blocks some lanes of traffic, cops will come and park their cars in the remaining lanes.

3)  The more emphatically an advertiser or politician stresses a certain point, the more likely it is that they are consciously lying about that point.

4)  Giving money and power to government is like
giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys
At least the teenage boys destroy themselves and we be rid of them,

not so the politicians, who destroy us and earn a fat retirement check doing it.
