ARTIST’S STATEMENT:

My style of art is contemporary expressionism.  The works have been described by others as possessing “tremendous emotion, superb contrast, and great originality.”   My subject matter is representational with abstract background.   I paint people to make connection with viewers.  The subjects are put in an invented paradoxical background.

I want the viewer to appreciate the artwork on two levels, technical mastery and originality.
