Statement of Capabilities and Rates
PLEASE NOTE: As we complete our move to Virginia and obtain the necessary licenses we are not seeking new work at this time. The process should be complete by July 2024 at which time we will be ready to discuss new projects.
Falcon Laboratories is a sole proprietorship business operated by Kim L. Ground offering consultant and engineering services in the field of industrial automation. Several professional associates are available on a part time basis to provide additional manpower and depth of experience. In over 30 years working in this field, we have gained experience in all phases of management and completion of small to medium scale automation projects for high speed machinery and process plant control. We can offer services ranging from total turnkey project implementation to troubleshooting single phases of the design and debug process. Specifically, we offer our services in the following areas:

We will save you the most time and money if permitted to consult with you in the early stages of your project.
Pricing on this work is negotiated on a job by job basis, either on an hourly rate or by contract. Our pricing structure calls for engineers to be paid at the rate of $400 per day, with out of town travel expenses at cost plus 15%. A premium is charged for emergency call outs on nights, weekends, or holidays. We mark up any goods or outside services we handle the payments for at 15% as well.
Falcon Laboratories, Kim L. Ground, and the associates are fully bondable and insurable. We provide bonding and / or professional and general liability insurance to meet the owner's requirements on a job by job basis.
